The Leader Dog Facility in Rochester, MI breeds and trains dogs for visually impaired or blind clients. The facility is run primarily through Lion donations and grants. It is the only facility of its kind in the world that does not charge clients to be "fitted" with one of their dogs. The cost per dog to be raised and trained for this important work is approximately $25,000.
